Why Are You Looking for a Dentist Near Colleyville, TX?

I Need A Checkup & Cleaning

If you or someone you love has special needs that make routine dental care challenging at home, you may be at greater risk of developing common dental concerns, such as cavities or gum disease, which often start out small but may go unnoticed and can progress into more serious issues.

Seeing our team near Colleyville every 6 months for a standard examination and professional dental cleaning allows us to catch and treat any areas of concern, like thinning enamel or swollen connective tissues, before they become more severe.

I Need A Dentist For A Person With Disabilities

Our team near Colleyville has over 150 years of combined experience offering specialized care to meet the unique needs of their patients, including those who live with:

  • Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Autism
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Developmental Disabilities
  • Down Syndrome
  • Intellectual Disabilities
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Physical Disabilities

We understand the importance of personalized, trustworthy dental care for you and your family, and we are happy to work with you to design services tailored just for you.

I Have A Dental Issues

Dental emergencies can occur at any time, and in many cases, acting quickly can help save your or your loved one’s smile. Contact our office near Colleyville to let us know what happened, and we’ll schedule an appropriate time to see you and provide any necessary care instructions over the phone for you to follow until you arrive.

Then, we offer a variety of services, including dental sedation, using advanced technology to provide much-needed relief and devise a customized treatment plan to address the root cause.

I Am Missing One Or More Teeth

Gaps in the grin left behind by missing teeth can potentially detract from your daily quality of life, as tasks like eating, speaking, and smiling can become much more challenging.

Our compassionate providers near Colleyville are happy to provide a lifelike dental bridge or full or partial dentures to restore both the mouth’s function and appearance, which can boost confidence, improve bite force, and enhance enunciation.

I Am Nervous/Scared Of The Dentist

Those living with different abilities may face unique challenges that make it harder to complete their dental exam or procedure successfully. We understand and offer two sedation options to help you or your loved one remain calm and relaxed throughout their visit.

For example, we offer oral conscious sedation, which typically induces a deep sense of ease, but isn’t intended to knock you out. With that said, you might forget the details of their visit, which many anxious patients appreciate.

We also offer general IV-administered anesthesia that renders you unconscious for complete comfort. Our specialized in-house anesthesia team will monitor your vital signs to ensure everything remains within healthy ranges.

I Have a Cavity/Broken Tooth

Chips, cracks, and cavities are common dental issues that require treatment sooner rather than later to prevent them from worsening. Our team gladly offers a variety of restorations, such as tooth-colored or metallic amalgam dental fillings or crowns, to repair damaged enamel while allowing you to continue using the injured tooth to eat, speak, and smile as usual.

What level of education is required to be a dentist?

The road to becoming a dentist requires 7+ years of schooling as well as a lifelong commitment to continuing education. The first step is to obtain an undergraduate degree, usually in a major that’s heavy in math or science and with very high grades. Then, they must be accepted to an accredited dental school. From there, they undergo extensive in-classroom and hands-on training to obtain their dental doctorate.

To maintain their license, dentists need to complete continuing education hours each year as well. Dr. Glynn Solomon, for example, completed over 600 hours of continuing education to obtain a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry!

How can I find a female dentist?

If you are looking for a kind, experienced, and passionate female dentist in Colleyville, visit Dr. Santiago! Her journey to becoming the exceptional dentist she is today began about 10 years ago when she was a dental assistant. Inspired to help those in her treatment chair even further, she decided to attend Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, which is where she earned her dental doctorate. Since then, she has prioritized continuing education and maintained active memberships with professional organizations like the Texas Dental Association, which ensures she stays up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.

How much does a dental checkup and teeth cleaning cost in Colleyville?

There actually isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to the cost. In order to provide you with an accurate estimate of the price, we need to consider whether X-rays are needed, if you have dental insurance, and if sedation dentistry is necessary to provide you with the calm and comfortable experience that you deserve. Once we have all of this information, we can provide you with an estimate and answer any questions you have about the price.
