Dr. Robinson brings 41 years of dental experience to our dental office, and in his mind, his goal with each patient is simple: to make scary problems not so scary. He’s able to put anyone’s mind at ease so that receiving their dental care is always a stress-free and positive experience. He looks forward to welcoming you and your loved one into our dental office, and you can learn a little more about his background below.
Dr. Robinson’s journey to becoming a dentist is a very straightforward one. His father convinced him to apply for an army scholarship to go to dental school, and he was accepted! He decided to eventually focus on special needs dentistry so he could give patients easy access to great dental care in a conventional dental office.
Dr. Robinson completed his undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Arlington, and then he obtained his dental degree from UT San Antonio. Afterward, he completed a one-year general practice residency at the Brooke Army Medical Center and a two-year General Dentistry Residency at the Madigan Army Medical Center. He served in the army from 1975-1989 and has been in private practice ever since. Always trying to learn more, he maintains an active membership in the Academy of General Dentistry and regularly takes courses through the Dawson Academy.
If Dr. Robinson isn’t spending time with his wife, 2 grown sons, and grandchildren, you’ll almost always find him relaxing on the lake or playing with his ham radio.
